SSW 208: Make it Crafty

Look everyone ... this is me, being organized and making Christmas cards early!  It's only May too!  You MIGHT actually get a handmade card from me this year!

It's Wednesday and time for another challenge from the crew over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday!  This week our resident sketch artist, Sally, is asking us to work with circles.

Our sponsor is Zoe from Make it Crafty.  I chose this little guy, Gingerbread Dance.  I just couldn't resist his soft-shoe dancing.  He kind of reminded me of one of my FAVORITE Christmas movies, Holiday Inn with Bing Crosby.

Our winner gets a $15 gift certificate to the Make it Crafty store!

Don't forget you can't win, if you don't comment on the Sweet Sketch Wednesday blog.

  2. Joanna, your card is sooo cute. I love how your gingerbread man feels like he is dancing off the card. I love that you have cut him out and popped. The papers are perfect. Have a great week.

  7. What a fun Holiday card! I'm already stressing about having zero made since half the year is almost over. I want some gingerbread cookies now - yum!

Thanks so much for your comment about my "cherry on top" card, but I totally messed up and used the wrong sponsor! Anyway, I quickly made a new card last night and it's posted now, yikes what a day I had yesterday!

Also, I live at 21st Ave and Camelback in Phoenix, so your sister is VERY close by! It would be fun the next time you are in town to get together.

    Have a great week!
    Peace & Luv,
    Jeannie

  9. Very organised Joanna. I will no doubt be panicking the week before Christmas about my cards, as usual.

I adore your bright stripes and think your image goes perfectly.

Hope you have a good week.
