New Releases over on the Bugaboo Site!

There is a new release over on the Bugaboo site.  This one is called Thank You Tulip.  I didn't need a thank you card but, unfortunately, I needed another sympathy card.  I removed the words so I could add my own.

There is a new fun challenge over on the Catch The Bug Challenge Blog; in fact I had so many ideas in my head that I had to join in the fun.

I'm using the Bugaboo image: Mustache Guy.  I kinda went crazy with the whole "mustache" theme but it made me happy sooo ... I went with it!

I didn't have to work today so that means I had more time to play in my studio today.  I've been wanting to color this guy up since he arrived at my door.  I probably should have colored his boots a bit differently.  It kinda looks like he has leg warmers on!  But it's OK, he is ROCKIN' this 80s look!

I used the sketch over on the Freshly Made Sketch blog.  I liked it's simplicity.  I'm also joining in the "Going Green" theme over on the Dragonfly Journeys site.

March Gerda Steiner Challenge

I'm having a "day"  ... you know, when things are just NOT going your way?!!  I'm ready to take some inspiration from this cat and spend the day reading, sleeping or maybe both.

This is the image from the Gerda Steiner monthly challenge.  This snoozing kitty challenged me; I struggled to find a way to use him.  Here is what I came up with this month!  Using Gerda's image each month allows me to receive next month's image for free.  It's not too late to buy this month's image and join in!

Saturday Challenge: Nature's Wonder

Over on the Catch The Bug Challenge Blog we have a new challenge.  It's Nature's Wonder: All Creatures Great And Small.  The first "creature" that popped into my mind was my dog: Holiday.  She doesn't look like this, but I'm sure that she would be HAPPY to celebrate anyone's birthday as long as she was assured a piece of cake.

This week I'm using the Bugaboo image: Charlie's Birthday.  Jodie has quite a few dog images under the "Critter" tab.

The rules for the challenge are simple:

• Create a project inspired by the theme and post a link to it on the Catch the Bug blog
• New projects only no backlinking please!  
• Limit 3 projects per follower!
