Sketch Saturday: Digistamp Boutique

It's Saturday and time for another challenge over on the Sketch Saturday blog.

This week we are sponsored by Digistamp Boutique.  I love Sally-Ann's sweet images!  Our winner will receive a £10 voucher to her store... super cool.  I'm going back to my Christmas card production so I used her Lulu Christmas Dreams for my card.

I hope you have time to join in the fun this week.

Bugaboo New Release

I am SO excited to announce that I've been chosen as Guest Designer for Bugaboo Stamps.  Yay.  I've loved Jodie's images for so long; this is kind of a dream come true.  My first card uses the new image Sign It Snowman.  I have thing for snowman images so it wasn't difficult using this little cutie.

I'm joining in the following challenges:
Merry Monday Christmas Challenge - Use an ornament (my "o" is an ornament)
Coloring in Scrapland - Tic-Tac-Toe (I'm doing the center row: Ribbon, Die and Bright - my paper is super shiny)

I hope that you will drop on by the Catch the Bug blog, and admire the rest of the team's gorgeous creations.

SSW2-123 Dilly Beans

Are you blinded by all the sparkle on this card?  I kinda went crazy selecting the busiest paper that I owned to make this card!!

It's Wednesday and that means it's time for another challenge over on the Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 blog.

Our sponsor is Megan Suarez from Dilly Beans.  I really DO love Megan's quirky and fun images.  They are such a blast to color!  This week I'm using her Mummy & Spider Love Candy (and really, who doesn't love candy?!!)

Our winner will receive 3 free images from the Dilly Beans shop.  What a great prize.  Won't you join in the fun?!!

Wishing "Shoe" Well

Is this guy not a riot?!!  I love his kick-y boots and that cheesy grin (plus the wobble I put on his back) ... and suddenly he is just the perfect image!!  I also wanted to show that "Chet" wasn't afraid to show his softer side too, so he's got a pink background.

I'm joining in the wiggle-wobble challenge over on the Art Impression blog.

SS484: Boo-Frickity-Hoo

It's Saturday and time for another challenge over on the Sketch Saturday blog.

This week we are sponsored by Drawn With Character.  Our winner will receive 3 free digi-images.  Cool.  I have just TWO more Halloween cards to make so I chose to continue with my Halloween theme.

I hope you have time to join in the fun this week.

Howl-A-Ween

I gotta admit ... I don't ever get tired of making Halloween cards.  Halloween is one of my very favorite holidays.

Which is why I was so sad when my boys told me that they don't want to Trick Or Treat this year.  What?!! (insert boo-boo face here)  There is still time for them to change their minds but I WILL try to respect their decision.  Maybe we can have a big bonfire and cook s'mores and hand out candy ... that will be fun too, I suppose!

This cute little mummy is a Whipper Snapper Design stamp and I'm using the sketch from the Cheerful Sketches Challenge blog.

My second card was more of a challenge.  The Catch The Bug site had a recipe: 1 Layer of Paper, 1 Word Sentiment and 1 Embellishment.  Yikes!  Sooo not my "thang" which is why it was so intriguing!!

I used the Dracula BobbleHead image from Bugaboo and then ... used my one embellishment to make him an actual bobble head (I'm not counting the crystal effects or glitter as an embellishment, just saying!).  His head wobbles!!  This simple card is seriously cute!

I'm also joining the "Anything Goes" theme over on the QKR Stampede site.

More Halloween Cards

I am sooo sick of all the drizzly rain.  Too cold and wet!  It IS the perfect excuse to stay inside and craft tho.

My second card uses the sketch over on the Freshly Made Sketch site.  I decided that the kids would like interactive cards and their sketch was PERFECT for a shaker card.

Despite all the card making (aka laundry, vacuuming and baking that I've avoided doing all week) I still have 10 more Halloween cards left to make.  Ugh!

I'm also entering the "Fall Colors" theme over on the Fab and Funky site and the "Trick or Treat" theme over on Cute Card Thursday.

At least I've had fun.

SSW2-122: Little Blue Button

Sooo, I got in a huge hurry to mail a few of my cards.  I quickly mailed this one off to a sick loved one and I didn't really notice that my picture was so terrible.  Sorry.  If you squint at it with one eye closed, it will look as cute as it WAS in real life.

Now that you can "see" the card better, I wanted to share that it's time for another challenge over on the Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 blog.

We have a fun new sketch and the return of Little Blue Button as our sponsor.  I'm using her image: Spike and Anna Having Coffee.  I thought that she was darling.

Our winner will receive a $10 gift certificate to her store.

Here is a bit more about Little Blue Button:

Little Blue Button Stamps started it's life in december 2012 as free digital stamps company "Digital designs by Olga".  Later in spring 2013 it was reborn as Little Blue Button Stamps and first Design Team started it's work.  In the summer of 2013 we started to produce rubber stamps which were pressed and packed by C.C.Designs company. In Fall 2014 we started to release clear stamps but due to some problems in my life I had to shut down both clear and rubber and continue with digital stamps only.  Now I continue to create designs for digital stamps and printables by LBBS and clear stamps for Russian store by Tamara Startseva.

2 More Halloween Cards

I'm finishing up two more to add to my stash.  I'm using the sketch from over on The Paper Players site.

It was perfect for this darling Pure Innocence image from My Favorite Things.

It was a bit more challenging to think of something that would work with the Atlantic Hearts Sketch. My first thought was pumpkins but I thought that everyone would chose that image.

So I went with this hilarious image from Art Impressions.  Now that I AM an old bat, this image makes me giggle more and more!!

I hope your day is fantastic!!

Happy Shaky, Shivery Halloween

I need 20 Halloween cards, so I'm off to make those (see I TOLD you that I would get distracted from finishing my Christmas cards!)  I decided to use a few of my interactive stamp sets.  This fun little guy is the Wiggle Wobble Skeleton Set from Art Impressions.  I wasted a few minutes entertaining myself by posing him in all sorts of different ways.  I got WAY too much entertainment out of him!!

I'm using the sketch from Fresh Made Sketches for both cards.  It was fun and looks so different with each one.

I'm also joining the Crazy 4 Challenges Saturday challenge.  They want to see interactive cards.  Boom.  Done!

My next card has mini-shakers.  I'm using another AI set: Quivery Mini- Shakers.  How fun are those scared little trick-or-treaters?!!

And since there is embossing on the first card, it satisfies the QKR Stampede challenge this week.  How many challenges can I join in with 2 cards?!!

The Allsorts challenge blog wanted to see wings.  There aren't wings on the skeleton, but there ARE some on my little piggy.  Not your typical winged thing but, I think it counts!

SS 482 Fred She Said

Yep, starting my Christmas cards.  It seems like I always start with good intentions but then ... but then.  Yeah.

So here I am ... trying to finish early, but I don't think anyone will be surprised if I get busy and have a mad Christmas rush right after Thanksgiving!!

Since it's Saturday, it's also time for a new sketch over on the Sketch Saturday blog.  Our sponsor is Fred She Said.  There is a $10 gift certificate to the Fred She Said store for our winner.

I hope you join in the fun this week.

TMS 420 "Fried" But In a Different Way

Yes, I'm fried ... but unfortunately mine does NOT involve the beach, sun and a margarita.  I am fried aka - super tired.  I had 2 meetings in Denver and ugly traffic on the I.  Can I just say to our state's budgeting committee ... please fix the Interstate now. Widen it. Soon.

But this is how I WISH that I had spent my morning.

I'm using the sketch over on the Tuesday Morning Sketches site.  Too cute.  I love the simple sketches.

I'm also joining in the fun on the QKR Stampede site of Anything goes as well as ...

the fun on the City Crafter Challenge Blog.  They asked to see something that I did over the summer.  If you were to plug in a billion kids at the local pool, then yes, this IS something that I did this summer!

SSW2-121 Bugaboo

It's Wednesday so it's time for another sketch challenge over on the Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 blog.

This week we have Jodie from Bugaboo as our sponsor ... one of my very favorite sponsors.  She is offering our winner 4 free images.  And speaking of images, I used Grumpy Gertrude - Fake Plants to make my card.  Jodie has so many hilarious images in her store.  It's definitely worth a look.

We would love for you join in the fun this week!

Taking A Break From Birthdays ...

I'm super tired today ... I may have too much wine and fun with a friend this weekend!  I needed some quiet time away from rowdy animals and boys.  So, I took myself off to the basement to finish up a few cards.

I'm using my new Art Impressions Elf Shaker set.  I am in love with how his box jiggles.  It makes me think of my kids at Christmas, shaking all the boxes under the tree to see what was inside.

I'm joining the "Off Kilter" theme over on the Art Impression blog.  I'm also using "Sketch or Trio" theme on the ABC Christmas Challenge.  I have 3 stamps: the elf, his present and the sentiment and this counts as a "trio."   Since I'm also using the "Off Kilter" theme, I'm counting that as a sketch.

SS480 Just ME!

Welcome to another Saturday (sooo happy it's here).  Is it just me or does the week after a 3 day weekend seem longer than a normal week?

Any who .... another Saturday means that it's time for another challenge over on the Sketch Saturday blog.  This week we have a the return of a favorite sponsor: Just Me. Our winner will receive 2 dici-images from her etsy store.

This week I'm using her darling image: Sloth Love.

I hope you have time to join in the fun this week.

FMS304: More ... Wait For It .... Birthday Cards

Still working on my September birthday cards.  This is a From The Heart image.  I can't tell you how much I miss her talent.  Cancer stinks.

I'm using the sketch from the Freshly Made Sketches blog.  It was so cute and worked perfectly with this image.

My next card uses an Art Impression image: Elephant Slider Set.  As you can see ... I kinda went with a cupcake/ birthday cake theme!  Can you tell that I'm dieting and not supposed to be eating carbs, sugar, soda, and everything good in this world?!!

Happy Birthday From the Dog

I ran yesterday.

Today my body is telling me what an extraordinarily STUPID idea that was ... and for good measure it's telling me that I am old!!  Party Pooper! So sitting down, and crafting between laundry loads seems like a good idea!!

When I saw this new set from Art Impressions, I knew that I had to have him.  I love that there is a die that lets you put all sorts of stuff IN his mouth.  How freakin' cute is he?!!

I'm using the sketch over on the Try Stampin' On Tuesday as well as the theme of "Punches and/or Dies" over on the Tuesday Throwdown site.

I'm also joining in the "True Blue" theme on Dragonfly Journeys.

A Little Mousie Told Me It Was Your Day

Still playing with the fun interactive stamps from Art Impressions.  I LOVE this cat though I wish that I had more things to put in his mouth ... a bird, a ball, etc. (get on that AI!  How cute would that be, maybe with a "I'm on the ball" phrase?  Hmm?!!)

Using the darling sketch over on the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog.

You Wear Your Age With Style

I think that I need a billion birthday cards this month (OK, maybe only 16) but it feels like a billion!!  Oddly I need a birthday card every single day during the week of the 17-23 (wow) how does that even happen?!!

So here is one that I made to use.  I absolutely adore dots and the color combination of grey and lime green so I made sure to use both on my card.  I'm using the sketch over on the Paper Play Sketches blog.  It was too fun not to join in this week.

I'm also joining in the Colour Crazy Craft Challenge

SSW2-120 Romance

Our fearless leader, Anne, from the Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 blog celebrates her 30th anniversary this month.  Since the traditional 30th anniversary gift is pearl, she requested that we make love/romance or pearl cards to help her celebrate.  She will give our winner a selection of pearl embellishments.

Even though I've been happily married for 17 years, I struggled with this challenge. I'm not sure that either card that I created is REALLY what Anne had in mind when she asked for "romance/love/pearl" cards!

My first card uses the SugarPea stamp set: Undying Love.  How fun is this one ... but in the end I decided it was a bit too Halloween-y.

So ... back to the drawing board I went.  My next card uses the Bugaboo image: Stella/Gus-Commitment and Insanity.  Again, I had my doubts.  Pretty much when you see a Gus and Stella card, true love is NOT what you think about!!

Oh well, I hope that you will join in the fun over on the Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 blog and wish Anne and Martin a VERY happy anniversary.
