Birthday Bash Day 2: Sketch

Welcome back to Day 2 of the Birthday celebration over on the Catch The Bug blog.  We have a sketch for you to try.

Remember that the overall theme of this week is Birds, Butterflies and Birthday wishes.

To create my card I used the Bugaboo image: Birthday Bird 4.  It's the perfect image to make a quick birthday card.

Remember, your participation could earn you some GREAT prizes!

Sketch Saturday 496: DSB

It's time for another challenge over on Sketch Saturday blog.  This week we have one of my favorite artists: Sally-Ann from DigiStamp Boutique as our sponsor.  She is offering our winner a £10 voucher to her store.

I'm using an image from the Cute Pup set.  There are six images and four sentiments in this set.  Such a good deal (plus she has a 50% sale going on that you might want to take advantage of!)

Come play!

Birthday Bash Day One

It's Bugaboo's 8th birthday and we are celebrating big over on the Catch The Bug blog!  Our theme over these next few days is Birds, Butterflies and Birthday wishes.  Each day we will a specific challenge for you to meet.  Of course, what is a birthday celebration without presents?  Those who join in the daily fun will win prizes and a freebie set!

Today we'd love to see your projects that are Bold and Bright Birthday wishes.  For my card I'm using the prize set from LAST year's birthday bash: Under The Sea Birthday Set.

Why don't you join in?!!

Just Be-Paws I Care

This is one of my very favorite images in the Bugaboo shop.  How goofy is that sweet dog's face?!!  The name of the image is Funny Pup.  I needed a silly card to send off to a friend.  I just found out that he fell and broke some ribs.  Yikes.  I wish I lived closer so I could help out more.

I'm joining in the fun over on the Tuesday Morning Sketches site.  This is their inaugural sketch of 2018 and I really liked the sketch.  I did rotate it so I could use my image tho.

I'm also participating in the "Anything Goes" theme on the Crafty Sentiments site.

Shake It!

I'm under the weather so I'm avoiding all the jobs around the house that need doing (laundry, sweeping, vacuuming, putting away Christmas crap).  I decided that I'm just going to color while I wait for the pharmacy to fill my scripts so I can feel better.  Yep, that's my story and I'm sticking with it!

I wanted to join in the fun over on the Art Impressions blog.  Their theme is Anything Goes so it left it wide open for interpretation.  I'm using the Tan It set and popped up her butt for extra "thin mint" wiggle.

I'm also joining in the sketch  fun over on the Try Stampin' on a Tuesday blog.  I liked it's simplicity.

HMW: Caffeine

It's Humor Me Wednesday over on the Catch The Bug blog. We like to celebrate funny holidays each Wednesday.  This week I made a card to celebrate Festival of Sleep Day.  It was on the 3rd, but since it was a work day ... I don't think anyone celebrated with extra sleep on this day!

Frankly there is NOTHING funny about getting between me and my chosen caffeinated beverage! Sadly my kids know this and chose to wait until I am ... um, awake ... to talk to me!  I used two Bugaboo images to make my card: Morning Coffee and the sentiment is from Stella Peeker Darth Vader.

I pretty sure that I look this every morning!

Catch The Bug: Saturday Challenge

Welcome back another year of challenges over on the Catch The Bug blog.  I had a wonderful few weeks off and I'm ready to get going for the first challenge of 2018!   It's an easy one so don't panic!  This Saturday's Challenge is simply "Anything Goes."  Of course we'd love to see your Bugaboo images but it isn't required.  I'm using a fun image called Stella September.
