From The Heart Progressive: March

Yep, it's the VERY last day of March and here I am .... waiting til' the last second to use this fabulous From the Heart image.

I used the sketch from Mojo Monday.  It was perfect.  They wanted a "tall and skinny" card and I had JUST spilled coffee on my folded card stock!  I trimmed off the soggy portion and DONE!  I do like how it turned out.  This being my hubby's birthday, is the first of his cards (yeah, I spoil him).  Poor boy, two of his cards are pink.  What can I say, I like pink!

I'm also entering into the following challenges:

The Pink Elephant: Anything Goes
Digi Sketch Challenge theme: Furry Friends
Eureka Stamps: More Spring

The second one is the pumped up, "I am a champion and can handle just about anything that comes my way" version.

Feeling spunky today, I chose the "champion" version. I used Nickie Running Late For School and capped it off with my yummy Authentique paper. LOVE that stuff!

Inky Impressions Challenge 49 "Luck of the Irish"

It's Wednesday and that makes it time for another Inky Impression Challenge. This week it's the luck of the Irish and we want you to use green on your card. Pretty easy, right?

The wonderful Robins Nest is our sponsor for prizes. I used several of their rub-ons to make this card. The sentiment and the clock are both from their on-line store. Who knew rub-ons could be THAT cool looking.

I am perpetually in need of birthday cards (and sadly, usually they are BELATED cards) so I made this one to reflect that need!

We would LOVE for you to join in the inky fun on the Inky Impressions Challenge blog. Please use the keyword IIC49 when you upload so it ends up in the correct area! This could be YOUR week to be selected as a Winner or even Top 3.

Inky Impressions Challenge 47 "Use bright colors: Yellow, Pink and Green"

It's Wednesday (AND MY BIRTHDAY! Yay!) and it's once again time for another Inky Impression Challenge. This week we are to use bright colors: Yellow, Pink and Green. Since yellow is not my favorite color, I decided to use it as an accent. And I had to keep the pink to a minimum because I wanted to use Nicholas ... he IS a boy after all. It's all in the interpretation, right?!!

One Stop Craft Challenge encouraged us to create our own background this week. No designer paper allowed. I used CB plates, ink and dies to create Nicholas' background pool. I think it turned out kinda cool.

We would LOVE for you to join in the inky fun on the Inky Impressions Challenge blog. Please use the keyword IIC47 when you upload so that everyone will be able to enjoy your fantastic creation. The wonderful Zva Creations is once again our sponsor for prizes. This could be YOUR week to be selected as a Winner or even Top 3.

Inky Impressions Challenge 46 "Use dies or punches"

It's Wednesday (geez, where is this week going?!!) and that means it's time for another Inky Impressions challenge. This week we are to dig out our dies and punches and use them. I've gotta admit that this wasn't much of a challenge for me (Yay ... I love easy challenges!) I love, love LOVE all things related to easy cutting: dies, punches, decorative scissors ... you name it. Can't get enough of them ... so really, there was no hunting for MY dies!

This week I'm using Angelica's Daydream. She is happily dreaming about her beloved. Such a great stamp.

As always, we would be thrilled if you played along with us this week and beyond ecstatic if we saw you use an Inky image as well! Be sure to use the keyword IIC46 and link your creation on the Inky Impression site so everyone can all enjoy your work as well. Who knows, you may even be selected as a winner or one of our weekly Top 3!

Don't forget, there are PRIZES to be won! This week the fabulous ZVA CREATIVE is sponsoring Inky Impressions Challenge!

Inky Impressions "Bling and Pearls" Challenge 44

Yay, it's Wednesday so that means it's time for another Inky Impressions Challenge! This week we want you to use bling or pearls or heck ... maybe both like I did.

This week I used Angelica's Snowman. I think Angelica is my current favorite.

This week I used Taylor's sketch. I shifted the brads to curl around the circle. My colors were inspired by my buddy Lena. She challenged the group to use both a snowman and the color purple. Check and CHECK!

Inky Impressions "Shape Up - Anything But a Square"

Yay, it's time for another Inky Impressions Challenge. This week it's "Shape Up! Anything but a Square." I have to say that this was INDEED a challenge for me. I have NEVER made a card in any shape but rectangular. It was time to step out of my box (giggle, get it? Out of my rectangular box!!) I had to take two runs at it before I liked my card, but I finally got it right. I used "MaMaa Skiing" and since she's a digi, I was able to make her big and just use her head. I wanted to make it a bit silly because after spending 2 hours to make one card, I was feeling a biiiiit punchy.

So swing on by and join the fun. If you use the keyword IIC42, everyone will be able to enjoy your creation. You may even be selected as a Top 3 or a winner!

Inky Impressions "Red, White and Pink" Challenge #41

This week's Inky Impression Challenge was to use the colors "Red, White and Pink." This one was easy for me since those are some of my favorite colors. My pink DP drawer barely closes so it was nice to dig deep and find something good.

I used Angelica's Snowman. She's a favorite for me. We are looking for some great designs submitted. Remember, there is always an EXTRA prize given if you win AND you use an Inky Impressions stamp.

So head on over to the Inky Impressions Inspiration blog and play. Be sure to use the keyword IIC41 and link your creation below so everyone can enjoy your creation. Who knows, you may even be selected as a Top 3 or a winner!

Inky Impressions "Anything Goes" Challenge #40

Welcome to another Inky Impressions Challenge. This week it's Anything Goes! Wahooo. Nothing like a little freedom to get the creative juices flowing. I used "MaMaa Skiing" to kick things off and then went with a whole blingy theme! Can you go wrong with stickles, sparkly foil paper and swirls?

I think it's kinda ironic that I used MaMaa since I don't ski. I know, shocking since I live in the heart of ski nirvana!! Our family hikes, snow shoes and sleds (and that's kinda a lot since I REALLY don't like to be cold). Buuuut, I DID have a great time coloring ol' MaMaa. Come join the fun and post your card on the Inky Impressions Inspirational Blog (and maybe you'll want to do a little shopping too).

Challenges: Papertake Weekly, Digital Tuesdays,

Supplies:
Stamps: Inky Impressions: MaMaa Skiing
Paper: SEI designer paper
Accessories: MS snow punch, MFT swirl die, stickles, copics,
