Gerda Steiner: Some Bunny Loves You

Hey!!

It's NOT the last day of February and I've completed my task of using this darling image before the end of the month.  I'm actually six whole days early.  Yay me!

Gerda gave us these cute bunnies for the February challenge.  Using these two cuties on any project this month allows me to be eligible for next month's image.  I can't wait to see what she sends in March.

Love Is In The Air

My hubby doesn't really "DO" Valentine's Day.  I mean he buys the obligatory card and roses but he believes that love should be shown EVERY day.  I get him but I like the flowers anyway.

Yesterday he came down to my studio when I was making this card and said (when he read the sentiment) "I think what's 'in the air' is the dog."  Big unsentimental dork!  It was kinda funny because our dog CAN rip some good ones tho!

So this card is going to someone who DOES like the sentimentality of Valentines Day.

I'm joining in the Challenge on the Art Impression blog.  They want to see "love" represented.  On the Dragonfly Journey's blog, Jeannie wants to see the word "love" on my project.  Done and done!

Catch The Bug: Washi Tape Challenge

Confession Time:  I have a ton of Washi Tape and I NEVER use it.  I don't know why; it's really pretty.  Over on the Catch The Bug blog, it's time to whip out your washi tape (in my case it was dust it off!) and make something amazing with it.

I used the Bugaboo image: Two Snowmen to make my card.  I love this image and it made such a sweet Christmas card.

SSS 603: Penguin Love

As you know, I'm trying to be more on top of things (you know, not letting things -- like, oh say, Christmas cards) get so wretchedly behind.  I'm trying to make 10 each month in the hope that by the time December 2018 rolls around, I can blithely mail them out without stress.

That is the hope anyway.  I got 6 done last month.  (Sigh)  Here is to a new start in February.  I'm joining in the sketch fun over on the Catch The Bug blog.  Stella has a new sketch for us to try.  This card uses the Bugaboo image: Penguin Trio Blocks and came together fairly quickly.
