SSW 2: Just Some Lines

Happy Easter (OK, three days after, anyway).  I hope you had a nice holiday.  Ours was fantastic. We just had my MIL over.  The kids enjoyed hunting for the eggs.  We had a panicky few minutes when we couldn't find the last three eggs.  Hubby was giving me the "so where DID you hide them?" look over the kids' heads and I was completely flummoxed.

Heck, I can barely remember where I put them 10 seconds after they leave my hands!  It wasn't until we had the kids re-count the eggs that we determined that all eggs had been found.

I am so glad that you could come join us for another sketch challenge over at  Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.  This week Sally has given us another fantastic sketch to work with; there is quite a bit to it.  I rotated the sketch this week.

Our sponsor is a new one,  Just Some Lines.  The shops stocks whimsical art work created by its owner Jehanne, who creates and adds new artwork regularly into her shops when not doing school runs, illustrating children books or running after sheep.

We hope you find time to play.

  1. Hi Joanna I'm so glad you had a lovely Easter. We're still at the beach house and my boys are still swimming and biscuiting behind the boat with life jackets but no wetsuits. Water temperature around 21c still which is great for this time of year.
Love your card just so cute and those butterflies are the perfect finishing touch to your card, you really needed to turn the sketch on this image. Very cute. Take care and have a great week.

  3. That is so funny...forgetting where the eggs are. You are not alone, I have done it too! So I try not to get too tricky in my hiding spots.
Your card is so cute, love all the spring green going on, as well as all the sweet butterflies.
    Hugs, Heide
