SSW2-97: Ahhhh, Coffee!!

Happy Wednesday Peeps

Can you believe that it is the last day of August?  Seriously?  Where did this month go?

But since it's Wednesday, that means it's time for another sketch challenge over on the Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 blog.  How great is our sketch this fortnight?  This card came together so easily!  Granted, I absolutely love my image this week.  Snarky humor about caffeine addiction ... totally me.

As you may have guessed, we have the fabulous Jodie from Bugaboo Digi-Stamps as our sponsor.  I'm using the image: "JJ-Coffee"   It's hilarious and sadly accurate in my house. Our lucky winner will get SEVEN images.

We'd love to see you join in the fun this time!

PP310: Balloons

It's raining so I'm forced to be creative this afternoon (rats).

I'm using the sketch over on the Paper Players site (OK, yes, I made a few changes) and I'm using the color challenge on the Catch The Bug Challenge Blog.

I suppose I ought to go do something productive now.

DP: Kiss the Cook

Doodle Pantry is sponsoring the challenge over on the Stamp Art Papel site.  This week's challenge is Anything Goes, which makes for a nice easy challenge.

I'm using the Doodle Pantry set: Charliene Baking.  I love baking.  And food.  Did I mention that food is good?  Is it any wonder that I struggle with my weight?!!  Just in this last week I've made Apple Cinnamon bread, Snickerdoodles and Chocolate Chip Cookies.  I WISH I looked as cute in my apron as Charliene!!

I'm using the sketch over the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.   It was perfect for my image.

Why don't you join in the fun?

SS426: Robyn's Fetish

Happy Saturday!

It's time for another Sketch over on the Saturday Sketch blog.  We have a new sketch for you and the return of Robyn's Fetish for our sponsor.

This week I used Robyn's "Katie Reading" for my card.  I think that if I could, I would spend all my time reading.  But all things considered, I still manage to get a bit of reading done.  Despite annoyances like laundry and sometimes the husband (kidding!) I managed to finish reading The Cursed Child and have moved on to my next book.

Stop on by the blog, and join in the crafting fun this week!

SSW2-96 Doodle Pantry Christmas

This week over on the Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 challenge we have a new sketch and the return of
Laurie Wilson from Doodle Pantry as our sponsor.

I'm using one of her Christmas sets.  This image is from the Holiday Nutcracker set. I was a bit panicked to discover that I only have 32 Christmas cards done so I have to get going on finishing those up.

There is a $10 prize for winning this week.  We hope you'll stop in to join us this week.

Stella Says Sketch 412

Still feeling meh, so I'm taking my mind off me ... and putting it on coffee.  Ahh, I feel better already!

Using my new stamps from Art Impressions and Riley and Company to make a card for my sister, who knows better than to get in between me and my Starbucks.

Back To School

I just finished up my youngest's "Back To School" card.  And not a moment too soon, he goes back on Monday.  We walked his schedule on Thursday and he was seriously nervous about going to Middle School.

"Here Mom, quiz me on my schedule."
"You don't have to memorize this, you know.   I've printed a copy and put it in your backpack."
He shot me a look of unbelievable disgust.  "Seriously?  Only geeks wander around aimlessly."

Alrighty.

I used the sketch over on the Freshly Made Sketch site.  I'm trying to be able to do a Clean and Simple look on cards but I struggle.  I do love my layers!

I'm using a Doodle Pantry set: Pencil & Paperclip Color plus.  It's incredibly versatile.

TMS 364: Hello Friend

I wanted to participate in the sketch over on the Tuesday Morning Sketches site.  It's a cute one and totally worked with my image.

Here is my take on this month's freebie from Gerda Steiner.  In exchange for using it, I will get the next month's image for free.  Yay, who doesn't like free stuff?!!

I'm a little hurting puppy this week.  While exercising with the dog ... a rabbit suddenly appeared in the road.  You can imagine the next part -- the dog went one way after poor Bugs Bunny, and I went the other.  My back didn't start hurting until the next day but then ... WOW!!

Hubby is babying me (which for him is getting me hot tea and not whining about the amount of Olympics that I'm watching ... kind of a big deal for him since he likes to control the TV!)

Have a great day.

I have a million birthdays this month so I decided to use DigiStamp's super cute image: Birthday Nell.  I really DO love her sweet images!!

Why don't you join in the fun this week?

SSW2-95 DigiStamp Boutique

It's another Wednesday and that means another challenge over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.  This week we are sponsored by the wonderful DigiStamp Boutique.  Sally-Ann is offering a great prize of a £10 voucher to her store.

I'm using a favorite this week: Jasper and Flower.  He never fails to make me smile.  We are off to camp this week (me with my beloved Cursed Child book under my arm)  I'm hoping to get some reading done (in addition to all the outdoorsy stuff too!)

See you in a week.

DP: August AIMP

Happy August 1st.

Since it's the first of the month,  it's time for Doodle Pantry's monthly Ants in my Pantry Digital Challenge over on the Doodle PantryBlog.  As always, it's an anything goes challenge. The only requirement is to use a digital image.

I'm using one of Doodle Pantry's ant sets.  There are so many darling ant sets.  This one is called Book Ants - Color.  It was perfect to make a back to school card for my cranky pants oldest child.  He is so VERY sad because summer is nearly over.  Can you believe it ... only 14 days remain.  Yikes.
