It's another Wednesday and that means challenge time over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.  This week we are sponsored by A Day For Daisies.  Tammy is offering her usual great prize of a $12 gift certificate to her shop.

This week, Sally is inviting our followers to use a bit of creativity when they make their card.  You can use any shape for the center.  I chose a circle.

I'm using Tammy's Boy Kitty for my card.  I giggled when I saw this image.  I have both boys and kitties (well, one) and this would NEVER occur in my house.  My kitty is 17 and cranky (I'm not sure that she would let ME carry her this way.) Doesn't her expression just say, 'you can look, but don't touch me'  Aw, we love her anyway!

I hope that you are inspired to join us for our challenge this week.

  1. Such a sweet card, Joanna and i totally like the DP :-)

  2. I would have to agree I don't know if our Spike would like to be carried this way, but say that I guess the boys have from time to time but he wouldn't allow me to do something like that. This is such a cute wee masculine card I just love it and such pretty papers as well. Thanks for the great posting over at SSW2 this week, I better not show Liam as he'll be wanting to move in with you but most of all attend the school as he would love to be a pilot when he leaves school. Take care and have a great weekend.

  3. Oh your card is precious Joanna, as is your kitty! My boys tolerate our two cats, and I think the same is true of the kitties!!!!!

  4. Your kitty is beautiful, love her/ his coloring and blue eyes. Your card is darling, love the papers and the sweet saying. Have a super week. Hugs, Heide

  5. Oh my, your card make me want to have a kitten again! In fact last night a beautiful cat kept following me and my hubby as we were on a walk. I love your green floral paper...The yellow accents really make everything pop on your card! Love your coloring especially of the cat! Your post was wonderful for SSW2! Make me want to make a trip to Colorado Springs! The Blue Angels come to Sea Fair each year and practice over our house since we are very close to the base. It's awesome watching their maneuvers! Hope you are doing well! Have a wonderful summer!
    Hugs, Judi

  6. Joanna this card is just adorable and I love the sentiment you have used. Your papers and embellishments just compliment everything so well.
Hope you are enjoying the holidays. Anne xx
