FTH #54

This is the fourth picture I've taken of this card ... I'm giving up.  It's blurry.  We're both going to deal with it today.  Today is my birthday.  I get to post blurry pictures if I want (update: I couldn't leave it alone ... this is picture #5)  Making this card for my nephew whose birthday is just a few days from now ... hey, look at me being all organized!  It's a first for me!!

My beloved is off taking a gun class all day today.  At first I was a bit, well to be honest, cranky about him blowing off my day.  But I've got the whole day to do what I want.  I'm starting to rethink my attitude.  I plan to spend my crafting and then Mr. Blog will come home and take me out for dinner.  Not a bad way to spend a birthday after all!

I'm using the sketch from over at From the Heart.  I loved it.  What a great way to use up all those DP scraps you can't bear to part with.

I am also entering this in Cute Card Thursday's "Button and Bows" theme.

Your card is fabulous. I love all these monochromatic scraps and it reminds me of my January image :-) As Susanne said- upload it to our gallery. AND at least great take with our Sektch @ From the Heart Stamps.

  7. Love this Gus and you nailed the sketch with these gorgeous DP strips! I have days like that, too, when I want to stamp my foot and say 'it really does look better IRL' (OK, maybe I actually DO say that!). Fun card and I know it's even better IRL!!
