SSW2-07: DigiStamp Boutique
Despite being POST Valentine's Day, I'm going to share two more Valentines that I made for the boys teachers. Since my boys were giving them ... they had to be "manly" valentines! We had gone to Hu Hot for dinner (the kids LOVE it since they like when the cooks set fire to the grill and scream out "HU HOT!!" The cooks did not burn down the restaurant despite giving us several pyroclastic displays but dinner WAS a bit disappointing for the boys since the balloon lady was absent. Sad.
It was on the way home from our dinner that my little darlings remembered the cookies and valentines boxes that they were supposed to bring to school the next day. Needless to say the remainder of my evening was a blur of activity!
I used the sketch over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 to make the required Valentines. This week, Sally has another fun sketch for us. Her sketch calls for a square but I adapted it to 5x7 cards. Our sponsor is the wonderful Sally-Ann from DigiStamp Boutique. Fortunately she has a few images that are PERFECT for giving teachers.
Sally-Ann is generously providing the winner with a £10 voucher to use in her store. We'd sure love to see your work this week.

Two adorable card Joanna!! Why do boys ALWAYS wait till the last minute to let us know they need help with school stuff?!! We then run around like a crazy person and they doddle off like no big deal!!! Used to happen to me all the time. Now I sent him off to college and you should see how organized he has become...crazy!

Two adorable cards Jo. I love them both. Your coloring is great, love this sketch, and love the colors. Sound like a couple of boys I use to live with, remembering at 9:00 at night what is needed tomorrow. Being a good Mom, you got it all done for them.
ReplyDeleteHi Joanna don't you just love your son's when they remind you last minute? Do you think if we had, had girls it would have been any different? Or are they more organised? Well all I can say this week is great minds think a like, I do love the masculine side of your card these were both great images and perfect for this sketch. Take care wishing you a great week.

My daughter informed me that their group had secret Valentines and we went to the store the day before Valentines day and they had a bunch of empty shelves! No More School Valentines or teacher Valentines, :(

I hope you had a wonderful one. :) You card is so cute. I love these images with the kids sitting on the pencils. They make a super cute card. Kids are so good at giving us things that have to be done right now.....and then they cry because it now become a crisis. Oh how i remember. All you can do is smile!!
