SSW2-Doodle Pantry

It's Wednesday and one of my favorite sponsors is back for this week on the Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 blog.  It's Laurie from Doodle Pantry!  She is offering our winner a $10 coupon to the Doodle Pantry store!

Our sketch is a rewind from October of 2013.  It's too cute NOT to reuse!  If you are curious about what the team did with it last time, take a peek here.

Sketch Saturday: SSMIS

Heather challenged us with this sweet image from Penny Black.  It's Mimi's Christmas.  She was awfully fun to color.  Frankly I can't even imagine getting ready for that holiday yet ... I actually mowed my lawn this morning.  Granted, it's getting a bit crunchy but it's still growing.  It needs to stop growing.  Seriously.  I'm done mowing!

I'm using the sketch over at Sketch Saturday.  It called for a sentiment in the corner, but I left it off.  I didn't want the card to be too busy since I went a bit crazy with the dots!

Gerda Steiner Progressive - October

How stinkin' cute is this image?!!

It's the freebie over at Gerda Steiner's Progressive Monthly challenge.  All you gotta do is post your card and BAM ... you get the next month's image for FREE.  I love free stuff.  Thanks Gerda!

I'm using the sketch over on the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog.  Totally cute.  It's kinda my favorite card ... lots and lots of dots!

DP: A Very Marshmallow Christmas

To quote Snoopy, "It was a dark and dreary [day]" so I decided to make some inner happiness around here by getting my crafty on.

I've had this image sitting on my desk for a long time so I decided to dust it off a bit and get to work with the copics.  It's the Doodle Pantry image "Cocoa Cup Ants." I'm not much of a hot chocolate drinker (coffee is what can normally be found in my cup) but I liked it because it reminds me of my youngest child.  He feels that there should be a 70/30 ratio when making cocoa.  70% marshmallows (especially the multi-colored ones) and a very small 30% of the drink ... just enough to melt the sugary goodness of the marshmallows!

I'm using the colors suggested by the Color Throwdown .  My pink isn't exactly fuchsia but ... it IS pink.  I also used the sketch from Sketch Saturday.  I loved it's angularity.

SSW2-72 DigiStamp Boutique

Happy Wednesday friends.

We just finished a 4-day weekend here because of Parent/Teacher conferences and the end of term reports.  I'm happy to announce that my kiddos are doing UH-Mazing.  Together they earned 7 books from Barnes and Noble (each A on the report card earns a book)  My favorite part is how quiet they are on the ride home.  Shhh,  we have readers in this car!

And, in addition to being obnoxious and boring you with my great kid bragging, it's also time for another sketch challenge over on the Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 blog.

This week we have Sally-Ann from DigiStamp Boutique as our sponsor.  I chose to use her Love You Mac for my card.  How stinking' cute is he?  I love all her dog images but this one is especially cute!

Our winner will receive a  £10 voucher to the DigiStamp Boutique store.  I hope to see you join in the fun.

SSW2-Fresh Brewed Designs

Happy Wednesday friends.  I don't know about you but I am a bit ready for the coming holidays.  I love the Fall holidays: Halloween, Thanksgiving and (of course) Christmas.  It doesn't really seem like Fall here though.  We still have 70 and 80 degree temperatures.  I'm not complaining, it just seems odd to be decorating when it's so warm.

Because it IS Wednesday, we have a new sketch challenge over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.  Our sponsor is Heather from Fresh Brewed Designs. I'm using her "Let It Snow" Snowman. She has a bunch of cute snow dudes on her site!  This week, Heather is offering 3 free digis to the winner of our challenge.

Here's a bit more about Heather:

Hello, I am Heather Dennis, the owner and artist at Fresh Brewed Designs.

I love and do all I can to put God first in my life. I am so blessed beyond all I deserve. I have an amazing husband who supports and loves me more than anything. We lead praise and worship together in church. I love hearing him sing. I home school two of the best kids in the world. They are my heart. I can't even describe how much they mean to me. I LOVE all things crafty. I have been crafting and creating since as early as I can remember. We would love for you to visit our blog and Facebook page, where fresh ideas are always percolating.

I hope to see you play this week.

TMS 322: 2 Cute 2 Spook

Too tired to exercise is how I'm feeling today.  The dog is sitting at my feet and you can almost hear her asking, "so what's the deal, you have exercise clothes and shoes on ... are we going or what?"

Yes, I suppose we are since I've finished my card and I can't seem to find an excuse that sounds reasonable to even MY ears.  Bleah!

I wanted to share this little cutie from Doodle Pantry.  I'm using the sketch over at Tuesday Morning Sketches.  It was perfect for my little worm.  He's one of the Spooky Worms set and can be found by clicking on the Occasion tab when you shop.

Don't forget that the Doodle Pantry Digital Challenge is still going on.  It's an "Anything Goes" theme.   One more reminder, there is a sale going on on the Doodle Pantry site.  Laurie has all her Halloween images 25% off,  as well as 20% off on all Thanksgiving and on select Christmas images until November 1!

SSMIS October Mojo Monday

Dea challenged us with this Sassy image from Simply B Stamps.  It was definitely out of the box for me!  I started with the sketch over at Mojo Monday and just went with it.  I will admit that she was super fun to color.

I'm also submitting her for the Spooky, Sassy, Boo-tiful Witch theme over on Dragonfly Journeys.  She is definitely one of the above words.

I'm sending her out to YOU, Imke in Monday's mail.

DP2: Eat More Ham!

I had some free time so I decided to sit down and get a start on my Fall/Thanksgiving cards.  Yep, I'm done with my Halloween cards.  I just mailed them all today ... earliest that I've gotten them in out in years. Perhaps I'm actually getting more organized ... nah, just a fluke!

I also wanted to participate in Bugaboo's Stella Says Stamp challenge.  I love their challenges.

And speaking of things that I love, I'm using a little cutie from Doodle Pantry.  Laurie has all her Halloween images 25% off.  There are some spectacularly cute images there, and who doesn't love a good sale?!!

I'm also entering the Eureka Stamps Autumn Leaves/Fall Colors challenge.

SSW2-70 ADFD

Happy Wednesday peeps.

It's time for another sketch challenge over at the Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 blog.  This week we have Tammy from A Day For Daisies as our sponsor.

She has fantastic whimsical images that are just darn fun to use.  This week I chose Cat and Three Fish."  When I was in college, there was a barn cat at the stable where I rode, that had three legs from the result of an accident of getting too close to a horse.  Any-who, one day I came in to find OJ perched on the fish tank (just like the picture) and as I watched, he fished out one of our beta fish!!  Pretty talented fishing.

We DO hope you will join in the fun this week.   Don't forget to comment so you can WIN the $12 up for grabs in the ADFD shop.  Please stop by and give some love to my teamies this week.  They did an amazing job with this week's sketch.

Better Late than Never

I wanted to share the Gerda Steiner Progressive card that I made.   Despite missing the deadline, it's too cute NOT to share.

I used the sketch over at Hand Stamped Sentiments.  I liked their sketch this week, tho as usual I made some creative changes!

Doodle Pantry: October Ants In My Pants

It's the first day of October and that means it's time for our monthly Ants in my Pantry Digital Challenge over on the Doodle PantryBlog. It's an anything goes challenge this month, provided you use a digital image.

I decided to use the Doodle Pantry set: Motorcycle Mania.  It was PERFECT for the wedding card I needed to make.  One of my bridesmaids just got hitched on motorcycles, in Sturgis.  Yep, a crazy wedding for one of my crazy friends.  I miss her tho.

I sure hope you can join in the fun of the Ants in my Pantry Digital Challenge #9 over on the Doodle Pantry Blog.
