DP: Well HAY there!
I wanted to share one last card that I made using Doodle Pantry images. This is from the set Farm Critters and Barn.
I'm sending this one off to my aunt in Cheyenne. I know she is going through some tough times and I just want to say "hay" and lend my support her way.
I also want to remind you that the CAMO DIGI PAPER PACK is the August featured product for the challenge. Which means if you participate in the challenge over at the Doodle Pantry Digital Challenge, it will be mailed to you absolutely FREE!

From the Heart: Sketch 075
I needed a bunch of "get well" cards so I decided to use both an image and the sketch from over at From the Heart stamps. This is Sick Chick and he really DOES look sick, doesn't he? I think this was the VERY first FTH image that I bought!
Each week, they have a sketch and a twist. This week's twist is to use flowers but I hate flowers on my cards so I substituted band-aids.
This card kinda looks like my youngest child's knees right now. Not sure how he managed to get so banged up on the playground yesterday but I expect the CPS to come knocking on my door any day now!
Have a great day!

SSW2: Twisted Dilly Beans
Holy smoke!
It's the last week in August already. Since this is the last challenge of the month, Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 has a twist for you to shake things up a bit. In addition to using the sketch, you MUST twist to quality for the prize drawing. This week our TWIST is that you must have sewing on your card. It's up to you whether your sewing is real or faux.
We're also super excited to welcome back Megan Suarez, the artist owner of DillyBeans Stamps, as our sponsor this week. She will be providing the challenge winner with 3 free images from the Dilly Beans on-line shop. I used Megan's "Penny with Heart String" for my card.
Ready to see the sketch? It's a rewind from April of 2013. We hope you play this week.

SSW2 #25: DSB
Welcome back to Wednesday and another challenge over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2. This week we've got Sally-Ann from DigiStamp Boutique sponsoring us, offering up her usual £10 voucher to the store
I used one of the penguins from the Cute Penguin set. There are 5 great images to choose from and 4 sentiments, a really worthwhile set to invest in with your winnings! I am stockpiling Christmas cards already. I haven't sent out cards in a two years. The first year I moved and then last year, I had eye surgery. So THIS is the year that I get back into the habit (I promise!)
We'd love to see you join us this week!

FTH: Pumpkin PigWit
Doesn't this card make you long for Halloween?
There are only 13 more days until I can start decorating the house! Yay. I LOVE Halloween!
I'm using the image that Faith made for the August Stamp of the Month Club over at From the Heart Stamps. She has a progressive challenge ... each time you use the Stamp of the Month, the next month's image is e-mailed to you for FREE!
I used the sketch from Your Next Stamp Challenge.

Eat Cake Graphics: Surrounded by cake!
Today I'm sharing a card using one of my favorite stamp companies: Eat Cake Graphics. My card uses Main Squeeze featuring Mildred and Herbert. This is one of my favorite stamps since, (and I'm gonna be completely honest here) it looks like me and Mr. Blog. Ken is totally "Jack Sprat" and I'm a bit ... er, fluffier than he is!
I decided to pair this image with Holly's Surrounded by Cake phrase. I love the truth on this card!!
I also loved Karen Giron's sketch this week so I wanted to be sure and play! My paper is yummy paper from Stampin' Up.

SSW2: Doodle Pantry #24
It's Wednesday. This week over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 we are sponsored by Doodle Pantry.
That means we have a great sketch AND a great sponsor. I used a set from Laurie's latest release called Classic Clunkers 2. I thought this image would make the PERFECT birthday card for one of my nephews who is an amazing mechanic.
Laurie is offering a $10 coupon to use in her store to our winner. Here's a bit more about the face behind Doodle Pantry: Laurie
Hello, my name is Laurie. I'm just a regular Joe crafter. While trying to
find digital images that met my own crafting needs, I decided to draw some
of my own, as I had so many unique (weird!) ideas that I just couldn't
locate elsewhere. I sincerely hope something I've done inspires you to go
create something to bring a smile to someone else and hope you enjoy
creating to your hearts content with some of my doodles.. ~Laurie
I hope you get a chance to participate in our challenge.

FTH: Challenge 76
It's time for another challenge over at From the Heart Stamps. There is a sketch AND a twist: ribbons and bows. I went ahead and did both.
I used the set called Birdbrain Wine. I love those birds and this one is perfect! I wish I were sitting with my sister, admiring the sunset from her backyard chairs and ... yes, enjoying a glass of Cabernet. I'm feeling a bit homesick this week.
I hope you will stop in over at the FTH blog and join in the challenge. Don't forget, this month you have 2 weeks to find time to participate.

Doodle Pantry: Arizona Christmas
As soon as I saw the Stella Says Stamp sketch this month, I knew that I had to play. It's a fun one.
This set is also a fun one. It's from Doodle Pantry and it's called Holiday Cactus. Being from Arizona, I love all things cactus-y. This sight is all too familiar. Many folks string lights on cactus during the Christmas season (leading to the joke, "How do you hang lights in Arizona? Carefully!") Laurie's sentiment cracked me up too.
Creative Card Crew's theme this fortnight is Christmas so this card fits right in!
Thanks for stopping by ...

SSW2-23: Bugaboo
I've kinda got a pig theme going this week, don't I?!! I adore pigs!
This is my "Welcome Back" card to Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2. I took a break from designing during the month of July to get my schmitt together and deal with all the company rolling through. I don't know if I DID that, but I am better!
This week SSW 2 is sponsored the one and only Jodie of Bugaboo Stamps fame! That means that there are 7 free images going to our winner this week. I'm using Jodie's Super Pig. There are so darn many pigs in her shop it was hard to choose just one to use.
Our sketch is such a great one Come-on, give it a try ...

From The Heart: Piggies!
Happy Monday!
I'm starting out the week, trying to get back on my diet after pigging out over our vacation. And speaking of pigging out, I wanted to share with you a card I made for a friend's birthday this week. This is Hamlet Pigwit from From the Heart Stamps. Isn't he a cutie?
I'm using the sketch over at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. It was a fun one.

Doodle Pantry August Release
It's Friday people!! Let the celebrations begin! The boys and I are spending this weekend in Estes Park, hiking (and antiquing!) The boys might whine a bit, but I deserve a little fun too!! I'm still looking for something cool to put on my kitchen table ... maybe a coffee grinder. Who knows what I might find!
This is my second post of the day, so if you are looking for the From the Heart Blog Hop, scroll on down.
In addition to being blog hop day, it's also new release day over at Doodle Pantry. I'm using elements from THREE Doodle Pantry sets. I've got the newly released "Mustache Messages" and combined it with Hoppy Frogs. The little heart was fussy cut from the Li'l Tin set ... one of my favorite sets from Doodle Pantry.
Laurie has all the August products reduced 15%. There is also a 20% off coupon that you can use on top of that for anything in your cart (this excludes gift certificates). The sale runs from Aug 1-8.
The CAMO DIGI PAPER PACK is the August featured product for the challenge. Which means if you participate in the challenge over at the Doodle Pantry Digital Challenge, it will be mailed to you absolutely FREE!
From the Heart August Blog Hop
Happy August 1st my friends; Can you believe that summer is nearly over?!! Our blog hop theme
this month at From the Heart Stamps is Summer/Sunshine. If you've arrived from the FTH Community blog, you are RIGHT on track
I've decided to use an image that I haven't used before. This is Garden Friends.
I loved the look of the whole gang gathered around to chit-chat in the summer sun! I just added a sun cut from my Silhoutte to make it more "sunny!"
Now head over to Ruth's to see the fabo card she's created. Thanks for stopping by today. Make sure you leave a comment on every stop along the way. The hop will end on Monday August 4th
at 6am, EST, and winners will be posted on the From the Heart Stamps Blog on
Wednesday August 6th.
