Tuesday Morning Meets Jiggles

I'm getting ready to leave for my Utah trip to see family and watch a wedding.

I'm super excited to see all my nieces and nephews.  But since I will be away for a week, I wanted to show you one more Doodle Pantry card.

This is Jiggles the Giraffe.  How cute is he?!!

I'm using the sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches.  It totally worked with my image.

I am trapped in the house with 4 wildly rowdy boys so I'm trying to get ahead of laundry, and stamping requirements.  I look at my boys (who I know were given a hefty amount of smarts from their dad) and I see them doing the STUPIDEST things today -- youngest used an entire roll of blue tape to attempt to "lock" the others in the TV room.  And this was with me IN the house.  God knows what they would do left to their own devices.  (Sigh)  I'm assuming that they will grow out of this phase (soon please!)

Any-who, this is the July secret image for my monthly image challenge.  It's called Sea Shell Jar and it's by Stampendous.  It's super pretty; it certainly made me yearn for a vacation to the beach.

I don't know why but this image gave me a bit of trouble coloring.  I think the sky should have been a bit more subtle.  I tried twice to shade it and this is the best one!  I've decided that I need to work on my sky skills more -- it prolly didn't help that I spilled my latte on it!!  Damp images rarely make a good card; it definitely called for some creative cutting!!

I'm also entering my card in the Catch The Bug Photo challenge.  If this isn't beachy, I don't know what is!

Fourth of July is over, right?  Actually I gave this card to my hubby even earlier than that.  This is his Father's Day card!  We are soo busy during the summer that I have to be even MORE organized with my card-making than normal!

Mojo 456: Happy Anniversary

I'm back with my anniversary card.  It's kinda pink and a wee bit too busy for the hubster but I love this image so much that I don't care what he thinks.  (Psht, like I made this card for him.  Kidding!)  The inside says "I feel pretty ... when I'm with you.  Happy 16th Anniversary."

I'm using the Mojo Monday sketch and Art Impression stamps.   These images are super fun to paper piece.  Meet the Square Dancers (aka: Brenda and Joe).  I'm entering them in the Art Impressions Blog challenge because who wouldn't want the chance to win MORE AI images?!!

Sorta CAS and "Fresh"

I was looking at the calendar to help my youngest figure out how many days until his birthday (he swore that it was in two days -- it's in four)  But as I looked at the calendar I was stunned to notice that my anniversary is tomorrow.  Well crud.  I need a card.

This little cutie is destined for a niece so I'm headed downstairs to come up with something for the hubster.

I used the Freshly Made Sketch this week.  This card is pretty CAS for me.  I like layers and I did try to contain myself :-)

I'm using an image from Art Impressions, the Skinny Yet set, for my card this week. This is the last of the three sets that I bought (I showed you the other sets last week ... kinda thinking I need a few more!!)  I paper pieced her body suit.  I gotta say that I feel this way each time I do something even remotely healthy.  I walked to the mailbox and gave up butter on my theatre popcorn ... am I skinny yet?!!

Happy Wednesday Peeps

I hope that your Fourth of July weekend was fun.  Ours was, but nothing productive was achieved.  Some of the best weekends ARE lazy and unproductive though!
