SSW2-ADFD

It's another Wednesday and that means another challenge over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.  This week we are sponsored by A Day For Daisies.  Tammy is offering her usual great prize of a $12 gift certificate to her shop.

I once again took some liberties with this sketch (I have a habit of doing that don't I?)  I rotated it 90 degrees and then I might have skimped on the embellies ... I DO have three, two of them are just really, REALLY small.  I loved my sentiment so much that I didn't want to distract from it.  Sorry Sally.

I'm using Tammy's Book Time for my card.  I love this image.  It reminds me of all the books my boys and I read, squished together in Caleb's bed.  Good times.  I suggested reading some picture books the other night and no one was especially interested (insert boo-boo face here) I think I must have REALLY had a sad face because my oldest looked at me and said, "Fine, but we're reading only one, OK?"  They both are interested in big boy books now ... no more picture books for us.

I hope that you are inspired to join us for our challenge this week.  Why don't you stop by the Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 blog and leave some love for my teamies ... they are did a FANTASTIC job this week.

  4. Oh Joanna I love your card it's just so sweet, and yes doesn't it bring back so so so many memories laying in bed with my boys reading the Thomas The Tank Engine Chapter book. I think I know those stories off by heart. Wish we lived closer your hubby could drive Bertha up and down our long drive way and when she goes to the beach house he could help launch the boat and go fishing with Bill and the boys and I could craft. LOL Take care and have a great weekend.
