SSW212: Bugaboo

I am back from a fantastic visit with the in-laws.  I loved seeing all
the nieces, nephews and grands.  I finally got to meet the newest, baby Nathan (or "mayfun" as my oldest grand-nephew says).

It was a bittersweet visit because one is moving to Idaho, one is going to Japan for 18 months and one is deploying to Afghanistan.  The kids are growing up and starting their own lives.  Boo Hoo!!

But in better news, it's Wednesday!  We have another GREAT sketch on the Sweet Sketch Wednesday blog AND another great sponsor ...  it's Jodie from Bugaboo

Sally came through beautifully with our new sketch.  It's a fun one.  In fact, I liked it so much that I made not one but TWO cards with it.  I'll post my second card later this week.

I gotta be honest and tell you that I LOVE my card this week.  It just makes me giggle.  I first envisioned this as a card to give TJ's basketball coach, but when I thought about 8, 9 and 10 year olds signing this card ... I thought NOPE!  It WILL be perfect for my nephew Logan's birthday in a few months.  This is soooo his humor.

This week Jodie is offering her usual AMAZING prize of seven, yep (7!!) digis to the winner this week.

Remember, in order to be eligible for this week's prize, you must comment on the Sweet Sketch Wednesday blog.  Good luck!

  1. Hi Joanna so glad you had a lovely visit with the family it's always nice catching up. I love your sense of humour and laughed and laughed so much when I saw your card and of course I just adore Guss a man with attitude that's why he's married to Stella a woman with attitude. I do love both of these characters. Your card is just so perfect. Take care and have a great week.

  2. This is so much fun Joanna. That is totally my my humor, too. Love the colors and the way you have all the basketballs all around him. Fun!

  3. Joanna, your card really cracks me up. I love it. To add all those balls is sooo perfect. Well done my friend!! Super cute card. I know someone from Prescott (a good friends son) that just left for Japan for 18 months too. He just went into the MTC today, I believe. Maybe they will meet up. Such a small world. Have a great week.
    Hugs, Nancy
